Master Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Zombies with six unique Field Upgrades and Augments to boost power control crowds and defeat waves of undead effectively

In Black Ops 7’s Zombies mode, making it past the higher rounds is less about luck and more about knowing how to use your gear. The CoD BO7 Bot Lobby crowd might already tell you Field Upgrades are the real lifeline. You unlock them as you level up, and they can flip a bad situation into a win. The tweakable augments make them even better—you can slot in Minor and Major upgrades to change how they behave, so the same tool can feel completely different depending on your setup.

The one you get right away is the Energy Mine. It’s a simple drop-and-forget trap that shocks zombies three times before burning out. Early on, Minor Augments add handy extras. Extra Charge lets you carry two mines instead of one, while Frequency Boost keeps them ticking for longer. Siren pulls regular zombies into its blast for five seconds—good if you need breathing room. And Recycle means you can pull back a placed mine, salvaging some charge for later if the fight has moved elsewhere.

Major Augments are the big swing changes here. Carousel turns the mine into three floating ones that orbit you—great if you’re on the move and can’t watch your back. Scatter drops one mine that splits into three smaller ones, spreading danger across a wider patch. Turret trades the mine for a gun that auto-targets zombies, and Smart Mine makes the explosions smarter—holding off until more zombies gather so each detonation hits harder.

The other starter is Dark Flare. Think of it as a shadow beam that cuts through zombies in a straight line—perfect for clearing hallways or hitting that train you’ve been herding. Minor Augments here are just as flexible. Broad Beam widens it so you clip more targets. There’s an Extra Charge here too for a second use. Heavy Shadow slows anything caught in the beam, and Dusk Flame adds a burn effect that keeps hurting zombies after they’re hit. Using both can make bosses way easier to deal with.

Major Augments push Dark Flare in completely different directions. Dark Pact switches it from offense to support—healing and even reviving teammates right through the beam. Extension is simpler, letting it run longer. Supernova tosses the straight beam for a slow-moving sphere that passes through zombies before exploding, which works great in open maps. Muzzle Blast adds a close-range cone of damage—perfect for when you’re surrounded and need something brutal fast. Picking the right augment for the moment can make the difference between holding the line or getting wiped, and the loadout choices are half the fun in u4gm CoD BO7 Bot Lobbies.
