The Elite Skeleton Guardsman builds upon the base model but turns up the pressure. Though its moveset remains unchanged, several stats are significantly enhanced:

    Increased Health: It takes longer to Dark And Darker Gold bring down.

    Faster Action Speed: Less time between blocks and attacks.

    Higher Damage Output: Every hit stings more than before.

These changes force players to act faster and cleaner. Mistakes that were recoverable against the normal version now become fatal errors. The Elite Guardsman is often found guarding better loot drops or deeper areas of the dungeon, making it a worthwhile but dangerous opponent for players chasing rare Dark and Darker Items or looking to stockpile Dark and Darker Gold through higher-tier loot runs.

Nightmare Variant

The Nightmare Skeleton Guardsman is a shocking evolution, literally. While the Nightmare version retains the same moveset as its predecessors (the vertical slash and shield-based counterattack), it adds one major twist:

    Its shield is electrified.

This means that any direct hit to the shield now causes damage, creating a high-risk consequence for uncalculated attacks. Players who rely on brute force or spam attacks will find themselves quickly punished, not just by the counterattack, but also by the damage dealt on contact with the shield itself.

In addition to this electrifying new trait, the Nightmare version also features:
