ARC Raiders Efficient Mushroom Farming Tips

Learn the fastest ARC Raiders mushroom farming route to collect four mushrooms per run and maximize resources efficiently for better gameplay progress

In ARC Raiders, running out of supplies is the fastest way to get yourself wiped. Every scrap you pick up could be the difference between making it to extraction or getting caught in the open. Rare mushrooms are one of the most sought-after finds – they’re essential for crafting top-tier consumables and upgrading your gear. Most squads are lucky to grab one or two in a single run, but with the right route, you can pull in four almost every time. This isn’t just about wandering around hoping for spawns; it’s about following a tight, efficient path that keeps you moving and avoids wasted time. Once you nail this route, you’ll be the one your squad relies on for keeping the stash full. Mushroom 1 – Old Logging Camp

The run kicks off in the Old Logging Camp up in the northern zone. Don’t get distracted by the main buildings – they’re a time sink early on. Instead, spot the big, rusted water tower on the west side. From its base, head straight west for about fifty metres until you hit a narrow ravine covered in moss. There’s a fallen log bridging the gap, and inside that hollow log is usually your first mushroom. It’s quick to grab, low on enemy traffic, and sets you up nicely for the next move before ARC patrols start sweeping in.

Mushroom 2 – Sunken Highway Overpass

From the log, push south following the slope of the ground. You’ll come across the remains of an old highway overpass, half-collapsed into swamp water. The bit you’re after is the section that’s dropped into the shallows, forming a damp little cavern underneath. Step carefully around the debris and wade in – watch your footing near the deeper water. Against the far wall, tucked in with glowing algae and twisted bits of rebar, you’ll spot mushroom number two. This area’s usually quiet, but don’t linger; it’s easy to get boxed in if a patrol swings by.

Mushroom 3 – Abandoned Research Outpost Cave

Next, angle southeast until you see the satellite dish marking the Abandoned Research Outpost. Skip the main building entirely. Swing around to the eastern side where the outpost butts up against a big rock face. There’s a cave entrance half-hidden by vines – easy to miss if you’re not looking for it. Inside, it’s dark enough to need a flashlight. Head to the back, past some busted research gear, and you’ll find the third mushroom sitting there. This spot’s a gem – safe from patrols and rival players, so you can take a breather if you need it.

Mushroom 4 – Giant Bioluminescent Tree

From the cave, go straight east into one of the more dangerous zones. Your landmark’s hard to miss – a massive glowing tree that dominates the skyline. It’s often close to an extraction point, which makes it even more contested. The mushroom spawns in the roots on the north side of the trunk, wedged deep in the gnarled wood. This area’s crawling with ARC units, including some heavy hitters, so plan your approach and exit before you commit. Once you’ve got it, you’re sitting on a full set of four rare mushrooms – plenty for crafting and upgrades. From here, you can either push on for more loot or head out to extraction. And if you’re looking to stack even more resources for your squad, you might want to buy Raider Tokens to keep your edge in the fight.
